Pharmacy Assistant

Job Summary;
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in dispensing medication, managing stock, and assisting customers. The ideal candidate should have good customer service skills, basic medical knowledge, and the ability to work accurately.

Key Responsibilities;

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medication
Receive and process prescriptions
Pack and label medicines correctly
Assist customers and answer basic product questions
Manage pharmacy stock and check expiry dates
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
Process payments and issue receipts (where required)
Follow pharmacy regulations and safety standards

Requirements / Qualifications;

Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in Pharmacy / Health related course
Previous experience in a pharmacy or health facility is an advantage
Basic computer knowledge
Good communication skills
